Rebuilding Baltimore Together AIABaltimore members and friends joined the annual Rebuilding Baltimore Together (formerly Christmas in April) to assist with community landscaping and cleaning projects on April 28. Each spring this volunteer organization, in partnership with local communities, rehabilitates the houses of low income homeowners, particularly people with disabilities, the elderly, and families with children, so that they may continue to live in warmth, safety, and independence. Since its inception in this area in 1990, the group has provided over $3 million in home repairs to 679 needy homeowners! AIABaltimore hopes to recruit even more volunteers next year. We extend our special thanks to those who worked so hard in April: René Turner, Amy and Scott McGroarty, John Padussis, Associate AIA, Bob Caldwell, Terry Stahlman, Laura Dulski, Associate AIA, and Colin MacKillop, Associate AIA.
