FROM THE PRODUCERS OF THE BID DAY AT MOUNT WASHINGTON TAVERN- WE BRING YOU GENERAL CONTRACTING 101 The AIA Baltimore Professional Affiliates and Associates Committee are pleased to bring the next step after winning the bid: How to build the project and what are the important considerations to successfully complete a building? This interactive course in Construction Administration will be presented by Jeff Hossfeld of Whiting Turner. We will discuss everything from estimating, scheduling and project management, to the relationship and teamwork between the owner designer and contractor. This will be followed by an interactive activity on Construction Documents. WHEN: May 17, 2007 TIME: 6:00 pm Registration followed by presentation. COST: $15 for members & Associates, $25 for non-members/public VENUE: TBA Space is limited to 30 people. Checks should be made out and mailed to AIABaltimore to secure a spot. Earn 1 AIA/CES (HSW) credits with registration (which can be used to fulfill IDP).
