2006 Excellence in Design Awards and Baltimore Architecture Week: October 14-24

AIABaltimore is pleased to announce the third annual Baltimore Architecture Week. With a spotlight on architecture, this weeklong series of events will emphasize the importance of our built environment, from our rich architectural and historical heritage, to current policies, issues and projects, to our dreams and aspirations for our city. This year, we will build on last year’s success with the contributions of many of our previous partners and sponsors. Architecture Week holds something for everyone
We declare that design matters! Along with our partners and sponsors, we are dedicated to an ongoing dialogue on how design affects our community. We believe that by continuing to learn from Baltimore’s past, and by opening our minds to opportunities in the present, we can make better plans on which to build our future. For more information on Architecture Week, or to volunteer, please contact Anne Raines, AIA, 410-685-2002.
