Meet the Press: Tuesday, February 8, 2005
MEET THE PRESS … and let the Press meet you!
AIABaltimore’s Continuing Education Committee and the Society for Marketing Professionals are pleased to present this biennial event. How do architects get journalists’ attention to get our projects and stories published? What type of story is the journalist looking for? Do firms need to go to great expense to get published or can even the small firm have PR access to local and national publications?
On Tuesday, February 8 at the Engineering Society of Baltimore, a panel of local and national journalists will gather to discuss these questions and others. There will be opportunity to meet the panelists ahead of time as well as a Q & A session afterwards. The following representatives and their publications will be represented: Deborah Snoonian, Architectural Record; Heather Harlan, Baltimore Business Journal; Ed Gunts, Baltimore Sun; Dennis Hockman, Chesapeake Home Magazine; Bruce Buckley, Mid-Atlantic Construction; Brian Lawrence, Style Magazine; and Tracy Durkin of The Urbanite.
Reception begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the program at 6. The cost is $15 for AIABaltimore and Society for Marketing Professional Services members, $10 for associates and students, and $25 for non-members.
1 AIA/CES credit is available with registration. Please register by sending your check payable to AIABaltimore, 11 ½ West Chase Street, Baltimore MD 21201.
This event is generously sponsored by EMG Corporation and SPIN, LLC.
