What story is the journalist looking for? What do journalists want from the architectural community? How do we, the architectural community, get their attention to get our stories published?

On Tuesday, February 20 a panel of local and national journalists will gather to discuss these questions and others. The program will take place at The Engineers Club at the Garrett-Jacobs Mansion, 11 West Mount Vernon Place. There will be a reception, which will begin at 5:30, followed by the program at 6 p.m.

Panelists will be asked to describe their publication and editorial process. Including the types of articles sought and schedules/deadlines. There will also be a question and answer session after the journalists speak. This program, sponsored jointly by the Continuing Education Committee of AIABaltimore and the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), was very successful when last presented in 2005. Please join us in this historic setting to learn how to take advantage of numerous media outlets, which are at available to us.
