Chris Fultz, AIA is a design principal with SMBW Architects, PC in Richmond. His research focuses primarily on issues of landscape found in the intersection of the natural and built environment. Fultz received his M.Arch. from the University of Virginia, and later received the SOM Foundation Traveling Fellowship in recognition of his graduate work. His work has received numerous design awards and been published nationally.

Wilson P. Rayfield, AIA is a senior associate with Gresham Smith & Partners in Richmond. He received his B.Arch. from the University of Tennessee, and now works collaboratively in an award-winning team environment on projects ranging from airport terminals to corporate high-rise towers to state-of-the-art medical facilities.

Lori Snyder Garrett, AIA is director of the Higher Education Studio for Glave & Holmes Associates in Richmond. She received her M.Arch. from the University of Virginia and was a founding partner of Smith Garrett Architects in Charlottesville. Garrett is past president of AIA Central Virginia and has served as a guest speaker and juror at colleges and universities as well as professional seminars. She will serve as our jury chairman and speak at our Excellence in Design Celebration on October 21.
