AIABaltimore is pleased to present the work of photographer Joe Yablonsky on exhibit in the Gallery and Bookstore. His subjects include Jacksonian-era institutions, the rural cemetery movement, 19th century city planning, the City Beautiful movement, and the 1876 Centennial Exhibition. “PUBLIC ART + ARCHITECTURE in BLACK + WHITE” will feature images from Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Richmond and various other regional locations.

All of the photographs exhibited are hand printed using a traditional darkroom on archival-quality fiber paper. The photographs are then toned in selenium to increase their archival permanence.
This exhibit will be on display from January 6 to February 22, 2005 at the AIABaltimore Gallery in the Mount Vernon Cultural Arts District, 11 ½ West Chase Street.

The public hours for the Architects Bookstore and Gallery are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. 4:30 p.m. and by special appointment. If you are interested in exhibiting work, please contact Emily Arnold at earnold@aiabalt.com, or 410.625.2585.
