Artist’s Statement
The work in Salzburg Skizzenblock was done during my residency with the Land of Austria Kunstlerhaus Artists Exchange, Salzburg, Austria in 20032004. Drawing with pen and ink on the streets as the faces flew past, I splattered the cobblestone passages of Salzburg's old city, adding my own ink to the continuum of artists who have worked in their streets.
Saturday En Plein Air Sketch Group
If you are interested in sketching or painting the built environment, come join us the last Saturday of each month. Architects and artists have been getting together to paint “en plein air” once a month around Baltimore and share in a lunch-time exchange of ideas. If you would like to receive notice of upcoming locations, please email Jillian Storms at jas8989@comcast.net.
