January 2002 Programs Press Release

Laser Vision Precision "Beats the Clock" -- January 22, 5:30 PM

Announcement postcard Announcement postcard back

"AIA forecasts predict that more than half of all construction dollars will be spent on additions and alterations. Existing condition documentation (ECD) will be required for all such projects--pre-design drudgery for most firms. Quantapoint solves the biggest problem architects face on renovation/restoration projects: how to "beat the clock." But how can you beat the clock and still turn out accurate, cost-efficient, and complete documentation? Up to now, manual measurement was the only option, tying up valuable resources in a slow, potentially error-prone process. Errors in pre-design ripple throughout the entire project, frequently resulting in construction change orders. Is there a viable, affordable alternative to this age-old problem? " So states Quantapoint, the latest use of technology in the architect's tool kit. To learn more about this exciting application, join us at the new offices of GWWO, Inc./Architects on January 22, 2002. Reception begins at 5:30 PM. Parking is available on site. Please call GWWO for directions to the former landmark Stieff Silver Building, 800 Wyman Park Drive, Suite 300, Baltimore. Phone: 410.332.1009; fax: 410.332.0038
