January 2003

Join the TiP committee, Tuesday, January 28 at 6 p.m. at the Red Maple, 930 Charles Street. We will discuss how to compete in an environment that has become stiffer as the economy tightens with capital constraints. Are you putting your best foot forward? David Klein, a professor at The Johns Hopkins University, will present “Eye Candy: Using the latest technology in 3D visualization to make your (exclamation) point.”

The cost, payable in advance, is $10 for AIA members, affiliates, and students and $20 for non-AIA members or on-site registrants. Space is limited, so please pre-register by send a check made payable to AIABaltimore.

The AIABaltimore Technology in Practice (TiPC) Committee examines and presents topics concerning the use of technology to the design of buildings and the practice of architecture. Committee meetings are every fourth Tuesday at 6 pm. For more information about TiPC activities, or to be added to the programs mailing list, send an email to committee chair Paul T. Fialkowski – paul@spinLLC.com or 443.838.4888.
