Technology Relevant in Higher Education

What technology does a university need the architect to provide? AIA TiP Committee will host its second program to discuss technological advancements in higher education. Bill Clegg, AIA of Schoenhardt Architects will address the expectations of universities with regard to technology in higher education. The presentation will include a look at the critically-acclaimed University of Connecticut's SS&C Technologies Financial Accelerator building, designed by Schoenhardt Architects. He will explore some of the building's unique, high-tech features and their incorporation into the architectural vision for the space. Dennis David of Peripheral Vision will also present solutions for educational technology relevant to higher education.

Project Management Software Program

What advances in computer software will best aid project management for the architecture industry? AIA TiP Committee, in another installment of their Technology Lecture Series, will roll out a new edition of collaboration software.
Konover Construction Corporation, ranked among the nation’s top 200 construction companies in Engineering News Record, will present the advantages and innovations of its online project management software. The presentation will also discuss the current role of software technology in the building industry.
