PHOTO WORKS IMAGING FOR THE ELECTRONIC FUTURE
Baltimore, Maryland - The new Baltimore based company Photo Works LLC will host the June meeting of AIABaltimore Technology in Practice (TiPC) Committee on Tuesday, June 27, 2000. Join us this month to learn the difference between digital pixels and film negatives. Other topics to be covered are using a digital camera, darkroom work using a computer, multiple image duplication with a scanner, and techniques of photo editing available through imaging software. The Photo Works professional staff promises AIA members will leave with fresh new ideas of how to use digital imaging in all aspects of their work, including the preparation of images for Web pages and E Mail.
Photo Works LLC is a photographic resource center located at 3531 Chestnut Avenue, in the Hampden section of Baltimore. On street parking is available. The cost is $5.00 for AIA members, Affiliates, and Students and $10.00 for non - AIA members. Since space is limited, reservations are required. The AIABaltimore Technology in Practice (TiPC) Committee examines and presents topics concerning the use of technology, computer hardware and software, and their strategic application in the practice of architecture. This Committee meets every fourth Tuesday at 6:00 PM.
