SEEING THE POSSIBLE PENZA ASSOCIATES ARCHITECTS
Baltimore, Maryland - The firm of Penza Associates Architects will host the first fall meeting of AIABaltimore Technology in Practice (TiPC) Committee on Tuesday, September 26, 2000. Join us to learn how this award wining Baltimore architectural firm, active since 1982, uses technology. PAA is a small firm that concentrates on single-family residential and commercial design, with a vision for the future. They utilize the latest computer technology; with 3D modeling software, designers can give clients a virtual tour of their project before construction begins.
The office is located in the Homeland area of Baltimore City. In 1999, Penza AA rebuilt a vacant commercial structure at the edge of the neighborhood. It became the architects office, thus serving as an anchor of revitalization on the eastern edge of an Olmstead designed residential area. The new use for the building has given the community a new appreciation for what architects can achieve. The program is scheduled to last from 6 PM until 8 PM. Reservations are required and space is limited, so send your check early. The cost, payable in advance, is $5.00 for AIA members, Affiliates, and Students and $10.00 for non - AIA members.
Contact the Baltimore AIA Chapter office at 410-625-2585. 2 AIA/CES credits
